Activating Your Subscription
What "activation" means
After you pay, three things happen in the background — usually in under 60 seconds:
- Subscription flips to Active — shown in your portal header.
- Instance is provisioned — we create a fresh isolated database, initialize Odoo, enable the apps included in your plan, and attach SSL to your login URL.
- Welcome email lands in your inbox with the login link and a one-time admin password.
Direct purchase (Stripe)
- The moment Stripe confirms payment, our server receives the webhook and activates your subscription automatically.
- You'll see a green "Activated" toast on the portal, and the provisioning progress widget appears on the dashboard.
- Clicking Open Instance takes you straight to the Odoo login.
If you paid and still see Draft, click Activate Subscription on the Billing page — the system will recognise your paid invoice and complete activation on the spot.
Microsoft Marketplace
- After you click Configure account in Azure and set your password, we exchange a token with Microsoft to confirm you.
- Microsoft expects us to "activate" the subscription within minutes — we do this automatically the moment you complete the form.
- Your instance is created in parallel.
First login
- Open the link in the welcome email (also visible in the portal under Instances → Open).
- Enter the admin email and the one-time password.
- You'll be asked to set your real password and optionally enable 2FA — we strongly recommend turning 2FA on immediately.
- Odoo opens on the Discuss / home screen. Start by installing the apps you need from the Apps menu.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Still says "Draft" after paying | Webhook delayed | Click Activate Subscription |
| Didn't get welcome email | Spam filter | Check junk; portal also shows the login URL |
| "Instance not ready" > 5 min | Rare provisioning hiccup | Contact support via the WhatsApp bubble |
| Wrong plan shown | Caching | Hard-refresh the portal (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) |
